On Saturday, November 12, 2016. Hollowpoint Apparel hosted our 1st Annual Hootenanny for Heroes at VFW Post #4250 in New Smyrna Beach. With the help of local restaurants, volunteers, and Frank the Farmer, we were able to treat local Veterans to a BBQ and whole hog roast.
Along with delicious food, guests were treated to a USO Show from Orbit Performing Arts Academy in Port Orange, followed by an array of patriotic songs and music from Tom Cat Entertainment.
We'd like to thank the entire staff at The Little V. Everyone worked hard to ensure guests were full and hydrated. We'd also like to thank the following for helping us put together a memorable and fun event:
Corkscrew Bar & Grille located at 235 Canal Street in NSB
Scruffy Joe's Wings & Things at 1112 W. Canal Street in NSB
Marina View Celebrations, Meetings & Event Center at 125 Basin Street in Daytona Beach
Texas Roadhouse at 5549 S. Williamson Blvd in Port Orange
Mel's Diner located 4649 S. Clyde Morris Blvd. in Port Orange
Michele Boyer, Realtor for Magnolia Properties NSB

and last, but certainly not least, Frank Costa of Vaca Gorda Farms for donating, preparing and cooking the hog!
While this was our 1st Hootenanny, it won't be our last! We plan to make this an annual event at the VFW and who knows -- we might include more hog roasts events next year! Be sure to follow us on Facebook and stay tuned for 2017 Hollowpoint Apparel events.
